PORK AND CHICKEN STIR FRY

Hey Everyone

Last Saturday I made a stir fry for my family, usually when I make a stir fry I always do a pork, beef or a chicken stir fry, on that particular day I was torn between pork and chicken so I thought I might as well try doing both.

So after doing this stir fry I’m going to repeat this very often because it's yum and at the same time very healthy.

Also, this stir fry recipe is really great because you can make loads of food on a small budget very effortlessly in a short amount of time, so it's a great option when inviting over friends and family. Besides, it will taste like you’re a real contender for master chef,so with that said I have decided to share the recipe details with my readers down below.

Pork and Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients
3 Chicken thighs deboned
2 pork loins
A pack of stir-fry vegetables
Salt and Pepper
Dark Soy Sauce
2 sprigs of garlic
A tsp of grated ginger
½  of a medium onion
Spring onion
Sesame Seed Oil
Stir-fry Vegetables

Instructions
1.       Chop the deboned chicken thighs and pork into small cubes and place into a bowl.
2.       Chop garlic, onion and spring onion and add it to the bowl with the pork and chicken, add the grated ginger add salt and pepper and add soy sauce to flavour at your preferred intensity.
3.       Using a spoon mix everything together then cover with cling film and place in refrigerator for at least an hour.
4.       Heat sesame seed oil in a wok or frying pan
5.       Remove seasoned pork and chicken and add to the frying pan or wok
6.       Whilst stirring till lightly brown add stir fry vegetables
7.       Stir Fry vegetables and add a bit of soya sauce
8.       Then add noodles, using a fork and spoon stirring each section to incorporate the ingredients and adding more soy sauce as you require.
9.      Also, if you are using dark soy sauce like I did you would have an idea on how much you’ve added based on the colour.
10.   I added some Tesco Hot Chilli stir fry sauce to a small bowl on the side to add a little kick at my preference but it taste just great on its own.
11. Serve and Enjoy!

Product Review: Giovanni Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor

Hello my beautiful readers,

I bought this deep conditioner because there was a lot of buzz about it on youtube and when I researched the reviews the vast majority said it was a great conditioner. I was deciding between the shea moisture and the Giovanni because due to a lot of blowouts over the last few months my hair was looking a bit dry and unhealthy with a looser texture when I washed my hair than normal. Other than cutting out heat I wanted to improve the present health of my hair.

Just a general disclaimer that the review of this product is in no way sponsored this is my honest thoughts and opinion of a product that was purchased with my own money.

So with that being said, let's begin!

The Purchase&The Promise
I purchased this product from Amazon for about £7.39.This product promises to penetrate damaged over processed hair by penetrating the hair shaft and going to the heart of the problem of chemically damaged and heat styled hair. It promises to undo the damage present in hair.

Usage
Firstly I sectioned my hair into 6 then  co-washed my hair with a bottle of Tresemme’s natural conditioner. After co-washing my hair and rinsing it through I applied the reconstructor to each section and then I retwisted it. I wanted to put a plastic cap over my head for deeper conditioning but since I wanted to give a review that will match the instructions I left it for the 10 minutes as instructed then rinsed each section of my hair thoroughly.

Ingredients
Aqua (purified water) cetyl alcohol, stearalkonium chloride, tocopherol (vitamin E), citric acid, phenoxyethanol, natural fragrance, *helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, *glycine soja (soybean) seed extract, *betula alba extract, *malva sylvestris (mallow) extract, *achillea millefolium extract, *chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, *equisetum arvense extract, *lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, *rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, *salvia sclarea (clary) extract, *thymus vulgaris (thyme) extract, *tussilago farfara (coltstool) flower extract, *urtica dioica (nettle) extract.*USDA Certified Organic.

The Smell and Consistency
The smell of this product is a very natural smell it’s not floral or sweet smelling in any way. In fact, the smell is very similar if not the same as the light leave in conditioner. The consistency is quite thick but when applied to the hair it softens and blends right into your strands with little or no effort. Despite it's not a bad smell I really like sweet smelling hair products even if it's lightly fragranced with natural oils so I’m not a big fan of the smell, but I LOVE the consistency.

Does it live up to its promises?
Along with the other promises mentioned above to also add this product has on the back of the tube 3 distinct promises.

·         Re-energises tired damaged hair
·         Encourages thickness and volume
·         Fill in porous hair with thick proteins

Well...
When I applied this product to my hair I was a bit of a skeptic, after all, I have low porosity extremely thick and long 4C Hair and the reconstructor has been reviewed by different hair types. I tried a small amount in my hand first and rubbed it into one section getting ready to add some more before I could do that I was able to run my fingers through my hair so the slip is great even for thick, dry, tangled Tarzan hair lol. So in my opinion a little goes a long way when it comes to coating the hair it’s quite similar to the light leave in I used in the Giovanni range so I’m not sure if that’s a general factor with all of their product line but if so it is worth every penny as it will be great for long term use. Whether it encourages thickness and volume my hair is generally thick so I am not sure I will notice the difference but I can update you as to whether I have noticed the volume of my hair change when used over time. After coating all 6 sections I left my hair for 10 minutes to condition. When the 10 minutes was up I rinsed out each section and I was like “stop the press” to my amazement I could still run my fingers through each section my hair was soft and more manageable when I looked in the mirror my hair looked a lot healthy in terms of my curls but the moment of truth was after my hair was dry.  After my hair dried in a braid out for the next day, my hair looked darker less lifeless and extremely healthy. The Giovanni conditioner was mainly a protein treatment so I wasn’t looking for slip etc but it left me screaming this conditioner is giving my moisture conditioner a run for its money.

Would I purchase this again?
I’m currently ordering another one it’s in my basket in fear that Giovanni might change their formula because this product is too good to be true. In fact, I'll purchase a few bottles just in case. So, the answer to the question of purchase if you haven’t gotten the drift is a big fat yes I will purchase this product again and again and again.

Sooo....

Have you purchased the Giovanni Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor?
What were your thoughts? Let me know!

Until next time!

xoxo
