Valentines Red Lip Makeup Collab// Laura Living Life
Hi Everyone, So this is really exciting for me because its my first collaboration with another blogger! Myself and Laura have decided to collab and create two different takes on a makeup look featuring the red lip for Valentine's Day. I cant wait to go read her post her makeup looks always looks so flawless! I added a gold highlighter but it kinda went all wrong when my lighting decided to go and it didn't show up in my photo's but I still love the look because the eye shadow I used came through regardless of the lighting.
So I decided to pair my red lips with a gold- brown lid and gold highlighter. So I will give you a roundup of all the products I've used, so keep reading to see how I got this look!
Base// Loreal Infallable Primer to prime my face then I used the Nyx Stay Matte not Flat Foundation in the shade chestnut on my face followed by La girl colour corrector in Orange for my under eye circles. I set my face with the Matte finish matte spray by Nyx.
Cheeks// Makeup revolution Blush Light and Contour Palette the 4th colour down it's a gold highlighter for my cheek bones but it didn't really stand out as much as I'd liked so I ended up using the gold deposit by Mac higlighter to highlight the top of my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose. I also used my Bobby Brown makeup stick foundation as a highlighter because its darker than my complexion as I use this one in summer and its in the colour Almond.
Brows// Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in the colour 001 and I used a brown eyebrow pencil from miss sporty, Eyebrow gel by Eylure.
Eye's// A gold glittery shade called glamorous by makeup geek for my lids then I used a brown shade from my 144 makeup revolution matte pallette for the crease and a beige colour slightly above that from the same palette. Remy eyelashes in 226.
Lips// Lined my lips with a brown lip pencil by miss sporty then I used what is currently my favourite red lipstick Nyx Full Throttle in the colour Sandman.
The first picture at the top on the left I didn't have any eyelashes on yet but I needed something to glam up this simple look. The two final pictures I had added some more setting spray and some eyelashes and I was quite happy with it. My husband tends to like makeup that isn't too heavy or glam despite I personally love it so he gave me loads of compliments for this look so mission accomplished ha ha.
So that's the look I created I hope you guy's like it.
